WebTo establish the incidence and long-term outcomes (up to 21 years) of children presenting to a University hospital paediatric neurology service with symptoms due to functional neurological disorder (FND) with particular reference to occurrence of FND or similar symptoms in adulthood. Methods: Webwith FND are common in pediatric practice—up to 10% of children presenting to pediatric neurology clinics [4] and up to 20% of children presenting to specialist epilepsy clinics [ 5]. FND places substantial psychosocial, educational, and nancial strains on children and their families and a substantial burden on the health care system [ 6, 7].
